 The Ordinary and You

Speech Given by CEO Nicola Kilner

Addressed at DECIEM Headquarters Virtual Event

Good evening everyone. Before I begin, I am inclined to give a tremendous thank you to our spectacular research and development associates and to all of our viewers who are joining our special event tonight. Also, I would like to extend a warm welcome to our beautiful space at DECIEM headquarters. Thanks to all of the love and support for our formulations over the past few years, we have been able to keep this place alive with innovation and creativity at the forefront. 

[PAUSE] Ambitious dreams, we all have them. As you may know, DECIEM started off as an ambitious dream to be unique from the beauty industry standard and to the needs of its users. Many of you have dreams of bettering the health and efficacy of your skincare. Subject to our ever-growing selection of serums, cleansers, exfoliants, oils, and the likes, we have been fortunate to do just that. 

Here at The Ordinary, we are honest and transparent with you in our 

ingredients and purpose. We sincerely hope and ask, that in return, you will be honest with us. Our team at The Ordinary would like to hear from our customers so that we may best cater to your needs and requests. Is there a certain product that you feel is missing from your regimen, a skin concern that you want to prioritize or resolve, or perhaps an idea that has inspired you? We would love to hear your input through an open survey format that will be provided tonight. 

The extent of your entries will be thoroughly and carefully reviewed by me and our capable associates. Those results will then be intently taken into consideration and will undergo proper research, evaluation of resources, and testing in our laboratories. Once this is complete, we will be thrilled to present a new line of successful, selected formulations that align with some of your requests. 

The Ordinary is beyond thrilled with this project and we wholeheartedly hope that you are too. You know what your skin needs and we have the resources and ability to help. Safe, clean, proper beauty and skincare formulas no longer need to be an ambitious dream, in this collaboration, we can continue to make this a reality.
